The St. Louis Field Office has recently expanded its investigative infrastructure to improve the efficiency of our mission in combating and investigating fraud and corruption within the Postal Service.  Our office has significantly increased the number of Special Agents assigned to conduct investigations within Missouri, Iowa, Kansas, Nebraska and Southern Illinois.  In addition to our primary location in St. Louis, Missouri, the St. Louis Field

Office has an office in Kansas City, Missouri, to enhance the success of our investigative operations.

Theft or embezzlement of USPS funds resulting from improper expenditures

Workers Compensation Fraud

Embezzlements involving Postal Funds

Employee Misconduct

IMPAC/Voyager Credit Card Misuse

product substitution

     defective pricing

     overpriced spare parts

     false billings/false claims

     false statements

      Bribes, Kickbacks, and Conflict of Interest

  Indemnity Claim Fraud

Potential fraud or corruption should be reported to the St. Louis Field Office by calling 314-439-6000; writing to USPS-OIG, 77 Westport Plaza Ste 325, St. Louis, MO 63146-3124; or via email at dpoarch@uspsoig.gov.  Fraud and corruption can also be reported to the Kansas City Office by calling (913) 573-2625.  All

contacts are confidential.

 

The Office of Inspector General may approve payments for rewards to postal

employees, contractors, or private citizens who provide information leading to

the conviction of persons or entities who obtain, or seek to obtain, funds,

property, and/or services from the Postal Service based upon false or fraudulent

activities, statements, or claims.
