IRS Mileage Rates
WASHINGTON — The Internal Revenue Service today issued the 2010 optional standard mileage rates used to calculate the deductible costs of operating an automobile for business, charitable, medical or moving purposes.
Beginning on Jan. 1, 2010, the standard mileage rates for the use of a car (also vans, pickups or panel trucks) will be:
- 50 cents per mile for business miles driven

The salary increase, in the form of the upgrade negotiated in the 2006-2010 CBA, will result in an increase of the Per Capita for the IPWU, in accordance with Article 8 of the Constitution.
The increase will be 10% of the $.86 increase to Locals or an increase of $.08. This will bring the Per Capita of the IPWU up to $1.50 when added to the previous Per Capita of $1.42 effective July 1, 2007.
This increase will be effective as of March 1, 2008.
